Busy weeks seem to be the norm over here, so I’ll stop calling them “busy” unless it’s exceptionally so. This week was more…chaotic. Well, the last 2 weeks I should say. It’s been the season for weddings like last Sunday, followed by work and general lethargy that comes from Ramadan.
This week was a bit better. However, there was a last minute invite from Samsung Australia to attend their new Audio-Visual Launch in Sydney! It was a very early flight with being at 6am to get there for the morning of the launch which meant waking up at 0430. That coincided well with when to get up for Ramadan! 😅
The event itself was smaller than the one for the S23 series in Singapore, but Samsung basically took over an area at the Rocks Sydney, overlooking Circular Quay and the Opera house to showcase the latest TVs.
On entry, there was a display showing their original TV that made them a household name in the AV world. Doesn’t it look so ancient by comparison?!
The rest of the day after the event was spent with the other Samsung Member Stars (yes, that’s what we’re called – not my choice!) and we headed out by ferry to Manly.
Over all, it was an awesome quick trip and I think I can honestly say I made some friends that day. Odd things as an adult, don’t you think?
Now, I’m going to cut this update short as it’s Easter break and we’re about to record another episode of the podcast so that we can keep ahead of schedule.
