Well, it’s more of a fortnightly update this time. A lot has gone on to be honest!
- the person with the serious medical condition has had ups and downs and trying to balance spending time as the essential thing has meant some things (like this newsletter) had to take a back seat
- the old campus of one of the hospitals I work at shut down last week as we moved to brand new facilities — it’s an old building but it was an emotional day. I’ve been there around 10 years, but others have been there since they were interns or earlier!
- While I love my Polestar, it did develop an annoying scratching noise that the team went to great lengths to fix. In the interim, I had a highlighter yellow Volvo EX30 as my loan car.
- Ramadan has just started, so sleep and eating schedules are very different as of a few days ago. The good news? being up for sunrise and catching double rainbows this morning…
- Being Ramadan, I want to start my fundraiser again this year to donate to the less fortunate, but there’s just so much on the plate currently! Hopefully, I got a bit of down time and I can get the page set up online
- I made a deal with myself that I’d run 1000km this year. Ramadan always throws this off. I’m at around 70km so really need to kick into gear so that the year doesn’t get away from me.
- One of the cats has been naughty and decided to use the lounge rug as a litter tray. I thought I picked it up early but dear lord! After 8 rounds with the Bissel carpet cleaner, I was still get grossing looking fluid out of the carpet!
