As you can tell from this week’s story, it’s been a “different” kind of week! Here’s what else has happened:
- First half of the week was pretty “standard” – usual work and home
- Did spend a lot of time in our rural hospitals.
- Ended up actually working somewhere totally new about 2 hrs drive away — was quite a nice drive and list!
- Because that was a Friday, I ended up finding a mosque 5 mins down the road in this country town for Jummah prayer
- Friend had a small wedding followed by an informal event for the larger group of friends — that’s where I was before the McDonald’s incident
- Gary was sick a few weeks ago but had recovered. Today, he’s been grizzly again — we’re not sure what the issue is this time, so we’re giving it til tomorrow and hopefully getting a home vet (he HATES being taken to the vet – actually makes him get stress cystitis)
- On a side note, he’s an old cat now but most days he still plays along like a kitten. Today however, he really showed his age a few times with this far away stare 😥
- The weather has been insane today in Melbourne. While the city is renowned for having 4 seasons in a day, at one point, one windows showed blue skies and the other was such torrential rain, you couldn’t see 2m out the window!
- Had a last minute spontaneous catch up with an old friend and managed to check out a restuarant I’ve been meaning to go for ages!
