Here’s what’s been happening in my little corner of the world:
- Had the joy (and chaos) of hosting overseas visitors for the first time. Seeing our home through their eyes was humbling.
- With so many visitors coming, we hired a venue and held our first ever formal family lunch
- Plans for our own break were… derailed. Completely. But we managed a last-minute escape to Hong Kong over the Australia Day long weekend. It was short, it was fast, but it was deeply needed.
- Had some of my pics featured by Ritz-Carlton HK!
- Met the Chief Baker who personally recommended the pastries every day
- Hiked up to Victoria’s Peak
- Instead of a break, I opted to work through the end of year period and really REALLY felt it, HK was a welcome reprieve.
- I realised in a moment of reflection that the universe seems to be telling me one thing over and over again: Do the thing. Smell the roses. You’re not here for long.
- I also have a few collaborations that happened at the end of the year and new ones starting this year. Should mean I keep creative projects flowing throughout the year
