It was a week where I felt like I hadn’t quite caught my breath. Flew back from Singapore and landed on Monday only to go straight to work. The whole rest of the week, I felt like I was on the back foot, never quite on top of my game. Here’s some highlights:
- Slight jet lag from the red-eye light back from Singapore
- Longer days than usual since I was working at our further campus quite a bit. I ended up finishing early one of the days but some of the team had unwell family in hospital, so ended up staying back so they could do family visits etc
- Have barely managed to get luggage unpacked and washed and it’s already time to pack for Japan — I’m really looking forward to being home for a bit 😂
- My old housemate is in Melbourne and staying with us again — feels like a new and old experience at the same time
- Because of that, more social activities over the weekend than usual
- This was also the week where I had to put on my new “board member” hat for our business and sort out some things. It really isn’t comfortable on me, but it does feel like something I will have to do more and more.
- Installed ChatGPT and changed the language to what we speak at home and gave it to my parents – oh my! They’re hooked!
- Weather in Melbourne has been the coldest after a super mild winter. Looks like it’ll be a wintry blast before things turn.
- Luna, usually the shy cat in the family is now so brave! No more running away from strangers!
