Even though it was meant to be a countdown to less clinical work, this week was packed! And so is next week, but that’s a next week problem…
- On the last few extra shifts to help out a friend who has just become a father
- Did my one and only on call for the month. As expected, had to do an emergency case at 2am 🤣
- The one of the other days, I got a call to help do another emergency case after a full day — I don’t go to this hospital frequently so ended up having to do a mountain of paperwork in the evening but thankfully, patient did well 😊
- Received some really nice feedback about the newsletter and soon after that, the podcast. I don’t know why, but I find it just so amazing that people enjoy these silly projects that I do on the side! So thank you and to you too for reading these emails!
- I’m writing this as I fly back to Melbourne in First Class in Singapore Air! 🤯Not often that this happens!
- Caught up with the extended in-laws in Singapore. Because we were visiting, they gathered everyone together and cooked up a feast!
- Tried chilli crab for the first time
- Also, managed to see the Singapore First Lounge. It’s a really opulent space! I zoned out for a bit and realised my flight had nearly finished boarding and I was nearly 15 mins away! Mad dash ensued but at least I’m writing from the skies.
- Also, just how ridiculous is this?! High speed wifi as I stretch out on this huge seat?! (Can you tell I’m excited?)

I’d upload a ton more photos but the wifi on the plane is a bit glitchy so that will have to do for this week!
