This week was FAR less hectic that previous ones – mainly because there was no last-minute packing and travels involved! As of today, I’ve finally unpacked everything, though the next trip is not even 2 weeks away…
Highlights of this week:
- Worked with friends I haven’t seen in months – nice to be able to catch up
- Had a few super long days (0630AM til about 930PM) and realised that if I do lots of little cases, I’m much more energised than doing 1 big anaesthetic case. Might need to change my schedule to better reflect this in the future.
- Finally managed to tidy my table that was overflowing with things after the trips. As a result, I’ve found a TON of tech that I’ll need to sell soon
- Visited a new halal noodle restaurant that’s opened up in Melbourne – it’s been on my list for a few months but we haven’t really been here to try it!
- Made a decent amount of progress on some other projects that have been on my to-do list. Not as much fun to do that instead of creative work, but I’m glad I got through the dry stuff!
- Explored a brand new park that opened in Melbourne CBD, Seafarer’s Rest
- Spent a fair bit of time visiting my parents this week. I realised that they’re getting to that age where they repeat stories but more than anything, they just want to chat. Everyday things are taking longer and longer for them so they don’t get to spend as much time with friends…
