It was a pretty full 2 weeks with travel, work and the day-to-day tasks that build up. Here’s a bit of a summary since last time:
- only just unpacked from Singapore and had to repack for Japan!
- Finished packing at 2 am only to wake up at 530 to leave for the Japan flights
- Tokyo was hot and humid, but so familiar now that we only did a few things everyday — meant that even though it was a short trip, it felt very relaxing
- Japan is AMAZING for vintage goods — bought myself a vintage watch thats 50 years old.
- Even though this is the 5 or 6th trip to Japan, there’s always a new corner to discover. This time it was the rooftop of Ginza 6 and Azabudai Hills
- Ate at our favourite standing room sushi and halal ramen place
- Back and straight to work, including friend’s parent as a patient (see above)
- Finally unpacking/washing and unwinding at home for the next few months with close to no travel — I’ve defnitely shaken the travel bug. For now 😂
- On the way back from Japan, bumped into someone I follow on instagram, @itchban!
