Since pictures are worth a thousand words and all that, lets begin with how my desk looks right now:
There’s artwork that needs to hung, my calendars that need to be shipped (someone ordered one over the weekend!)…and a drill… because of course there needs to be a drill!
Even with the long weekend here in Melbourne, it’s been a pretty solid amount of just shifting boxes from one place to another. I’ve even taken tomorrow off work to hopefully get all the old stuff into the new place.
In other news, the cats have both been settling in and returning to their usual selves. Luna has FINALLY left her safe haven of the laundry and been out exploring the rest of the place. Gary has decided that one of the dining chairs is now his spot and is dangerously relaxed when there…
Now, even despite my best efforts to be anti-social after last week, it ended up as quite a social weekend. Firstly, one of the people from work invited us over for dinner and had some amazing wagyu tomahawk steaks on their grill. Then it was time to take an old friend out for a birthday meal. Being the old people that we are, we went out for an early weekend breakfast 🤣
I’m hoping this week ahead lends itself to a bit of normalcy before Ramadan begins…
