Daily moments

First all day opthal list. Gotta say that RC is a fast operator. 16 cases by 3pm even after 2 long breaks! Exhausting,
It was odd to finish the day so early. So many of my days finish late that I literally didn’t know what to do with myself! A quick nap then washed the car after months and ironed my clothes and had time in the evening.
Can’t remember the last time even chores could be done at such a pleasant pace!

Was meant to have the morning to do a private list but that got cancelled. Instead, I took the morning off and went for a stroll, went to the gym and made some hotdogs!
Having time off during the week is so foreign to me that it makes me feel guilty! Literally felt like I was doing something wrong all morning.
Was a very pleasant way to start an otherwise constant/busy evening. It’s nearly midnight and I’m just coming home.
Weekly Summary
This week was a return to long hours and lots of socialising. It was my first on call after a long while and I can’t say I’ve missed it! π It was also a week where Chandra, my old housemate and podcast co-host came to visit. My mother-in-law is also in town so I have to take the time to be a good host…
You might already start to see that these coming weeks will become an exercise in time management especially as we head to the last leg of the year.
There’s a whole bunch of stuff coming up next weekend and into the end of year finale including long delayed Xmas parties, friend catch ups and time for me to use up some travel vouchers that have been sitting there for way too long!
On top of all that, I have to get onto finalising the design of the 2023 Calendar! It’s currently up for pre-order and you can get 10% off by using the code PREORDER at checkout. I’ll have the final few images chosen and the design off to the printers next week.
Whew!
I’m already a bit exhausted thinking about the things coming up! I have to get back into saying “no” to more things so that I don’t get too overwhelmed by all the tasks piling up!
